Dr. James L. Orrington - CEO and Founder
Dr. Orrington is the founder of Orrington Institute. He is a graduate of Tuskegee University. He is also one of the first Afro-American graduates from the School of Dentistry at Medical College of Georgia and one of the first Afro-American graduate from dental school in the State of Georgia. He was the first person to receive a General Practice Residency in Dentistry in October of 1974. |
Mr. Prentiss Hill - Executive Director/Chairman
Mr. Hill is the owner and operator of BG & G since 2013 and BC & G360, a nonprofit organization, since January 2016. His responsibilities include creating college sports properties, He earned his BA degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University and his Masters from Clark Atlanta University in Marketing. |
Ms. Sandra House - Treasurer
Ms. House attended Kennedy King College majoring in Accounting. She worked for the Federal Reserve Bank for 28 years. She also worked for the Northwest Railroad for two years as a manager and the Urban Partnership Bank for eight. . Currently, she is treasurer of Orrington Institute Foundation. |
Father George Clements - Board Member
He studied at St. Mary of The Lake Seminary. He earned both a BA and MA Degree in Philosophy, and a BA in Sacred Theology. He was ordained in May, 1957 as a Priest of Archdiocese of Chicago and served as pastor from 1969 to 1991.He is the founder of the Black Catholic Clergy Caucus. Father Clements is also the founder of One Church One Addict with 800 Churches in 31 states. Plus the founder of One Church One Child with over 200,000 children have been adopted. |
Mrs. Mary F. Orrington - Board Member
Mrs. Orrington is a graduate of Albany Sate University. She is a retired registered nurse. She has a BSN degree in Nursing and MHS in Health Science Administration. She is married to Dr. Orrington with two adult children. Dr. Janie Orrington-Myers (Robotic Surgeon) and Dr. James Orrington ll (Dentist). She is a 2017 Golden Soror of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA). |
Dr. Floyd Russaw - Board Member
Dr. Russaw is a graduate of Tuskegee University and received his doctorate degree in Public Administration degree from Nova University. Dr. Russaw retired from after thirty- nine years of federal service. His federal career assignments ranged from an Aid in Veteran Administration Hospital to the Regional Director of the U.S. Public Health Service. |
